Quite surprisingly, in the middle of the Oregon coast forests, 40 miles of beautiful sand dunes can be found. We had a good time just hiking around, climbing up and running down. And had it not been for the dozens of buggy drivers who get off by running in circles on the sand, not caring that they destroy vegetation, make whole areas inaccessible and dangerous and create an incredible noise pollution, we could have believed we were walking on the moon.
