A Paris street, near gare Saint-Lazare, and a slice of the local urban life.
Why f2.8? It would be nicer if I could see the people on the end of the street sharper. You can always crank the iso up :-) Frank @ 2008-01-07 21:34:16
because, he had just bought his brand new Tamron 18-50 2.8 :D
Actually, you are, Brice, and doubly so!
This was taken with the 50mm f/1.8 about a year ago. And I ended up getting the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 DC EX MACRO HSM instead of the Tamron.
Frank, this is just because I'm not a big fan of high DoF for street scenes. I could have closed a full two or three stops more without touching ISO (which goes wrong very fast on the D50, btw). Alexandre @ 2008-01-08 18:54:06
y'a pas à dire, le noir et blanc, c'est quand même superbe... chantal @ 2008-01-09 20:47:44
