Today's image is very special, it marks a milestone for Aperture First: it is the 1000th photo posted here! I started this in April 2007, as my interest in photography was growing. Since then, there has been almost a photo every day, and this blog has become part of my daily life. Judging by the statistics, I am not the only one :)
To celebrate, I have gone back in the archives and selected a single picture for each month. It is not necessarily the most beautiful nor the most popular, but simply the one I like best. Here is the resulting gallery, consisting of 35 pictures: A Thousand Images Retrospective.
