Aperture First ran with daily images from April 2007 to May 2011. It was a great exercise, and one I believe was hugely beneficial in improving my photography and taking me to where I am today, a freelance mountain adventure photographer.
However, all good things must come to an end, and the usefulness of Aperture First has decreased so much that it doesn't make sense anymore for me to keep running it. For a few years already, my web presence has shifted to my professional website, alexandrebuisse.org, where you can find my portfolio, my blog, wallpapers and a number of other resources. Go take a look if you haven't already.
However, because Aperture First still feels like a bit of a treasure to me, with its 1340 images, and because of its importance in my photographic history, the site will remain online and accessible at the address legacy.aperturefirst.org. It will of course not be updated anymore, and commenting has been disabled.
